Note: Steel must be seasoned prior using it for maximum performance and prolonged life. Pans that are not seasoned will rust due to the nature of the material.
The Paderno 28″ steel Chinese wok has two short handles. Woks are most often used for stir frying, but can be used for other types of cooking as well. The shape of the wok allows a small pool of cooking oil in the center of the wok to be heated to a high heat using relatively little fuel, while the outer areas of the wok are used to keep food warm after it has been cooked.
