I think the price may have something to do with bringing it in from some other country. The design is not well thought out. There is no air hole in the lid (I’ll ask my husband to drill one). Unless air is coming in to replace the oil going out, the lid needs to be lifted. Then, if it is fairly well filled, the oil spills over the rim and makes a greasy mess. Also, there isn’t a silicone gasket to keep the lid in place when pouring, something we will have to improvise. Unless you are willing to fix these issues, you may be disappointed too with the quality, especially at this price point. The handle is flat and uncomfortable to hold as well.
