Aluminized steel is steel that has been plated with aluminium. The steel workpiece is immersed in molten aluminum to produce a tight metallic bond between the steel and coating. Aluminized steel is more resistant to corrosion than bare steel while retaining properties of steel. Aluminized steel transfers heat more effectively than bare steel.
