Matfer black steel pans are manufactured in the E.U. for Commercial kitchen environments. Due to the nature of the material they will have slight cosmetic imperfections or discolorations such as unfinished edges, scratches and/or dents, but this does not affect the performance of the pan in any way and it is not product defect.
