I have a much older model with a wooden handle. It is as sharp today as the day I purchased it. I wipe it with a soapy sponge to clean it when finished and put back in the plastic sheath it came in 20 + years ago and it’s good to go for the next loaf of bread or rolls! When I purchased this knife I believe it was somewhere around $10-15 which was pretty expensive even then :). It still is worth every penny they charge today, I just wish they still had the wooden handle! Good thing mine will out last me and the next generation.
